Man, 80, struck and killed in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An 80-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle in West Philadelphia.

It happened just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 61st and Vine Street.

Police say the vehicle did stop at the scene.

The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Police AID is investigating.
