Person robbed of cell phones at Wynnefield Heights motel

WYNNEFIELD HEIGHTS (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a robbery of an individual inside a Wynnefield Heights motel.

It happened inside the North American Motor Inn in the 4400 block of City Avenue.

Police say a person was robbed of cell phones.

The suspect reportedly fired a number of gunshots, but no one was hit.

The gunman then fled the scene.

No further details have been released.
