Troopers want to find the man who attacked a woman after surgery.

State Police in Delaware are searching for Edward Harvey, 40, of Philadelphia.

Investigators believe he attacked his wife who lives in New Castle and had recently returned home from surgery that left her partially paralyzed.

Police say Harvey used a neighbor's ladder to get up to a second floor window and enter the home along Christiana Road Friday afternoon.

After getting inside, he allegedly punched the woman in the face several times and damaged the phones. As a results, she had trouble contacting police.

Investigators think Harvey is staying with family in South Philadelphia.

He's wanted on burglary, assault and other charges.
