It happened at 3 a.m. on the 1100 block of Princeton Avenue in the city's Tacony section.
Police say 5 rounds hit the house - three went through the front window. Investigators also believe someone was in the dining room when the shots were fired, but the home's occupants said they did not see or hear anyone before the shots were fired.
No one was injured.
