Ethnic Chinese in Malaysia are snapping up paper bra-and-panty sets as offerings for their departed loved ones.
The Star newspaper reports the offerings will be burned as part of the Qing Ming festival Friday.The Chinese believe their ancestors will use the offerings in the great beyond.
The paper reports undie offerings are apparently new. The usual purchases for the festival are mock-ups of outerwear and consumer goods, fake money and paper cars.
