3 MOVE members denied parole

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - May 9, 2008 They are among nine MOVE members convicted of third-degree murder in the death of Officer James Ramp during an attempted eviction.

Seven years later, police bombed another MOVE house in West Philadelphia, starting a fire that killed 11 people and destroyed 61 row houses.

State parole board spokesman Leo Dunn says Edward Goodman and Michael Davis were denied parole, following similar rulings for three others.

One member died in prison. The remaining three go before the board later this year.

Prosecutors want each to serve the full 30- to 100-year sentence.
