Philadelphia police are searching for the gunman who shot a man in the head late last night.
Officers received a call just before 10 on Monday night that someone was firing a gun in the 3400 block of North 22nd Street in the Tioga-Nicetown section of the city.
When police arrived they found a man lying on the ground. He had a bullet wound to the head.
Medics took him to the hospital where there's no word yet on his condition. So far, police have only sketchy details on the suspect.
Witnesses told police that the man opened fire then ran off.
