Police say 20-year-old Calvin Harper of the Oakmont neighborhood was one of four or five men who robbed the truck Monday evening while the vendor was serving a frozen treat to a young boy. The vendor told police Harper and his accomplices implied they had a gun and then stole cash from the truck.
As officers were investigating the robbery, Harper passed the scene of the crime on a bicycle. Witnesses identified him as a suspect, and officers arrested him.
