Kumar, the zoo's 16-year-old white tiger, seems right at home in the new exhibit. Then again, he's lived at the zoo for about a decade.
But Nikki, a 5-year-old male, has been slow to adapt to his new home which opens Thursday. It features a grassy area and a pool of water.
The zoo plans to introduce Nikki soon to his new mate, 10-year-old Anna, in the new exhibit.
The Amur tigers came to the zoo in April, but have been kept apart by a wire mesh door and won't be allowed into the new exhibit simultaneously until later this month.
