Police cruiser involved in five-car crash

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - July 15, 2008 Police say about 7:40 a.m. a Toyota Camry stopped in the left lane of I-95 northbound near Churchmans Marsh.

According to police, the Toyota Prius behind the Camry managed to stop but a Saab sedan crashed into the Prius, pushing it into the Camry.

Then police say a Troop 6 patrol officer crashed into the Saab and a Buick Enclave rear-ended the police car. Police say no one has been charged in the accidents.

The trooper and two other drivers were treated for minor injuries. Police are still investigating the accident which affected rush hour traffic.
