Flames gut Bucks Co. strip mall

An early morning fire in Bucks County has ripped through a strip mall. The fast moving fire quickly went to two alarms.

The blaze broke out on Friday morning at about three at the Fairway Plaza mall on the 100 block of Trenton Road in Fairless Hills.

The two-alarm fire quickly roared through the row of stores. Investigators say, in all, about seven stores were damaged.

One firefighter was injured battling the flames. His injuries are not considered life threatening. No one else was hurt.

It took crews about an hour to gain control of the fire.

Investigators are searching for the cause.
