A funeral service will be held Thursday in Monmouth Junction, N.J., for the University of Delaware freshman who died Saturday after attending an off-campus party. The service for 18-year-old Brett Griffin is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church. Viewings are planned Wednesday afternoon and evening at M.G. Murphy Funeral Home in Monmouth Junction.

The University of Delaware is providing free transportation for students and faculty interested in attending the evening viewing and the funeral service.

Newark police said Sunday it could take up to six weeks to get the results of toxicology tests on Griffin's body. An autopsy found no bodily trauma. Authorities are looking into the possibility of an alcohol overdose.
