1 killed, 3 injured in Port Richmond crash

One man is dead and 3 others are injured after a one vehicle accident overnight in Port Richmond. The 27-year-old driver of the Honda Odessey Van lost control of his vehicle in the 2100 block of East Tioga Street around 3:15, striking a metal support beam for a train overpass.

All 4 men in the car were said to be in their 20's. 2 were taken to Temple University Hospital and the other 2 were taken to Hahnemann.

The driver was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Temple.

No word yet on the condition of the other men.

No word yet on what caused the accident which remains under investigation.
