New Strategy to Quit Smoking

It's a new campaign called 'Stay Quit Monday.' It aims to help smokers kick the habit one week at a time. Experts say it usually takes smokers seven to 10 tries before they permanently stop smoking.

'Stay Quit Monday' asks smokers to commit to quit on New Years Day and then again every Monday.

That way even if they relapse they have a better chance at quitting altogether within one year instead of spending a decade trying.
