Ramin Farro almost missed out on a 200-grand Powerball jackpot.
His winning ticket would have turned into a pumpkin at 5 p.m. yesterday.
But he claimed his cash Friday, less than two business days before the Powerball ticket expired.
A spokeswoman for the North Carolina Education Lottery says Farro entered the July 9th drawing and forgot about it.
He had put the Powerball ticket on his dresser.
Last week, a friend called and reminded Farro to check his numbers.
