Philly-area garage burns, fireworks blamed

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) - January 7, 2009 The two Doylestown men, 37-year-old William Goss and 24-year-old James Martiuk, were being held Tuesday in the Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $50,000 bail. It wasn't immediately known if they have a lawyer. Police say they seized at least 300 explosives.

Officers say the two were shooting fireworks in a vacant lot when one landed in some brush and burned the garage at Thompson Rent-a-Car in Doylestown. Siding also melted off the neighboring Cycle Sports bicycle shop. No injuries were reported.
