On Monday, a jury convicted Walter Dille, Jr., of the crime.
According to the prosecutor's office, Cade went to the movie theater the day of the shooting to buy tickets for a show that night. She died from a single gunshot wound to her head.
Prosecutor Ted Housel adds, during the trial one of two eyewitnesses detailed how Dille yelled to her to get back in the car. The killer fired a shot at close range and fled.
Dille was found guilty on all counts, including murder, felony murder, robbery, car-jacking, hindering apprehension, tampering with evidence, and weapons offenses.
The case was handed to the Jury before lunchtime last Thursday and was carried over into Monday.
Sentencing is set for April 3rd. Dille faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
