CHALFONT, Pa. - February 27, 2009

About 75% of the merchandise is used. But they also have new items.

Linda Andrews, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County, says, "Largely, these might've been discontinued items. Or, with the economy the way it is, from manufacturers that are going out of business. We are getting donations from all over the place."

All of the items are 50 to 80% off retail. These discontinued lighting fixtures -- in their original boxes -- are just $20 each.

Paint from a company that's gone out of business is just a dollar a gallon.

Brand-new pre-hung doors that came in two inches too big for a contractor's job are just $25 each.

The store has floor tiles, bathroom vanities, tubs and showers. Along with carpets and padding.

They're even selling two kitchens from sample condos -- complete with granite countertops and appliances. The retail value on each kitchen is about $20,000, but the sale price is $11,000.

All the money from sales goes to Habitat's Bucks County building projects.

The Habitat for Humanity Re-Store is located at 31 Oak Avenue in Chalfont, Pa. The phone number is: 215-822-2708.
