On Sunday morning around 12:30 a.m., the Philadelphia Police were called out to the American Motor Lodge at 4444 City Avenue where they found a party with teenagers drinking in the hotel rooms. Around 100 to 200 teens fled the motor lodge and walked down City Avenue.

There they randomly beat up on St Joseph's University students.

Multiple St Joe's students were attacked; a Drexel student visiting friends was transported to the hospital from his injuries in the attack.

He was later treated and released.

A St Joseph's University Public Safety Officer was punched in the face.

All of the assailants fled the area before any arrests were made.
