Building fire

Tonight around 8pm a fire started in a building on the 1100 block of North st in North philadelphia.

When the fire department arrived they found heavy fire coming out of the windows. Firefighters attacked the fire from the rooftop and streets. The fire was kept at one alarm.

At least two homes were destroyed in the blaze. One firefighter was injured in the blaze, his injuries don't appear to be life threatening.

Everyone who lived in the homes were able to get out safely.
