Dog killed in Bristol Township fire

BRISTOL TWP., Pa. - February 25, 2009 The fire broke out just after 6:00 on unit block of Woodside Avenue.

The fire was contained to a secondary home attached to the main home, which is used as a rental property.

The person who lives there wasn't home at the time of the fire, but a dog perished in the fire.

The rental property received major damage but the main building was not affected.

It took firefighters about a half hour to place the blaze under control.

The fire is under investigation by the Bristol Township Fire Marshal.
