NJ state offices to have 2-hour delayed opening Monday

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - March 1, 2009 The order from Governor Corzine is due to the coastal storm that's expected to drop up to a foot of snow in the Garden State.

Nearly 3 inches of snow is being reported in southern Jersey at this hour, with slightly lower accumulations in central areas.

Most northern areas are reporting just a coating of so far, mostly on cold and grassy surfaces.

But the worst of the storm is expected to hit early tomorrow morning, when heavy snows and strong winds were expected to create blizzard-like conditions.
