Sketches released of robbery suspects

AVONDALE, Pa. - March 10, 2009

The incident happened Saturday March 7th at the WaWa in the 700 block of Gap-Newport Pike in Avondale. Police say the men, one armed with a knife, tried to steal the 18-year old female victim's vehicle and abduct the woman in the process.

The woman was able to escape, but the suspects fled in the woman's vehicle.

Police suspect the men may have been driven to the site in a newer model, small, two door vehicle, light blue or silver/grey in color, that vehicle was driven by a third party of unknown description.

The two suspects are described as follows:
#1 white/Hispanic male, light brown complexion, early 20's, shaggy black hair (possibly jelled) chubby build, 5'6, approx. 180 lbs, dark colored knit cap, dark colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, wielded a large kitchen knife w/12-inch blade, eye piercing to left eyebrow area

#2 white/Hispanic male, mid to late 20's, light brown complexion, short black hair above ears, black mustache and goatee, black baseball cap, white t-shirt, blue jeans
