Water tanker summoned to fight NJ blaze

HAMMONTON, N.J. - April 7, 2009 Fire ripped through the Water World Fiberglass Pools building on the 700 block of Reading Avenue.

Officials say the two-alarm blaze started around midnight in a dumpster in the rear of the building but then spread to the main structure, burning through the night.

A tanker task force from surrounding counties had to be called in due to a water shortage.

No one was injured.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
