Sex offender arrested for rape

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - April 8, 2009 - According to investigators, a 26-year-old woman was raped around 2:30 a.m. as she entered an alley on the 6200 block of Woodland Avenue.

The suspect, a 46-year-old man, has been taken into custody.

Police have yet to release that man's identity.
