Women will have more restrooms and shorter waits at the new Yankee Stadium and the Mets Citi Field.

American Restroom Association board member Kathryn Anthony tells The New York Times it's a big moment for "potty parity."

Yankee Stadium has 369 women's toilets and 78 unisex facilities. There are 396 for men.

Citi Field has 374 women's toilets, and 351 for men.

Female football fans also are getting more restrooms.

The new Meadowlands stadium will have 608 for women. That's nearly a 50 percent increase from Giants Stadium. It will have 704 for men, up about 40 percent.

Studies show that women take about twice as long as men in the restroom. Besides physical aspects, the reasons include the increased likelihood of ushering children.
