A Manhattan landlord has included a cupcake clause in a lease for a bakery.
Landlord Jack Resnick & Sons requested free cupcakes for its monthly sales meetings.
Crumbs bakery owner Jason Bauer says he got a chuckle out of the "free-cupcake" rider in the lease.
Each month, Crumbs gets a call or e-mail with the date for the sales meeting.
The bakery delivers a dozen, including one of its special red velvet cupcakes.
