PRICES CORNER, Del. - April 18, 2009 The accident happened around 9:00 p.m. on the Kirkwood Highway and Newport Gap Pike in Prices Corner.
Delaware State Police say a 16-year-old boy was riding a bike when he was hit by a car.
He was carrying spray paint and the cans exploded on impact.
The boy was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.
Police are investigating.
