High tide has helped free a tanker that ran aground in the Delaware River. The NS Stella reported it was aground around 6:45 a.m. Monday outside the main shipping channel near Salem. It was freed before 11:45 a.m.

The Coast Guard says tugboats will escort the Liberian registered vessel, that was carrying petroleum additives, to a pier in Philadelphia.

The Coast Guard says there's no sign of any pollution in the water and no one was injured.
