Employees tied up in McDonald's robbery

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - June 22, 2009 At 2:30 a.m. Monday, 3 men with masks & gloves entered the McDonald's at 2101 West Lehigh Avenue through the drive thru window. They were armed with handguns. They tied employees with plastic ties and took about $2,000 from the restaurant's register and safe.

The fled in unknown direction, but investigators are working to determine if they ran or drove away.

  • Black mask, hat black & red hooded shirt and black pants

  • Black male, dark skinned
  • 5'9"
  • thin build
  • Wearing black mask, green hooded shirt & blue jeans
• Suspect #3
  • Black male
  • 5'9"
  • 300 lbs
  • Entire face covered with mask. Wearing black hooded shirt.

A similar robbery happened at a McDonald's on June 4th in Philadelphia.
