Man charged with multiple robberies

June 23, 2009 Witnesses say two men entered the bar; one produced an "Uzi" type weapon and demanded money from the register and from patrons at the bar. They say the second man was armed with a black handgun and stood by the door. A third man was reportedly standing outside the bar.

The men fled the scene with over $300.

The following night, June 17th, police were called to the Wine and Spirits Store on the 4600 block of Lancaster Avenue at 7:50 p.m.

Witnesses say they were robbed by two men, at least one was armed. The suspects fled the scene on bikes with about $1,000.

On Friday, June 19th, police identified one of the suspects as 21-year-old Timothy Scott. Scott faces a number of charges including criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
