Philadelphia radio host Irv Homer dies

Longtime Philadelphia radio talk show host Irv Homer has died. He was 86 years old.Homer suffered a massive heart attack while speaking at Eastern University tonight.

He was rushed to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Homer was a longtime talk show host on WWDB and more recently, WBCB in Levittown.

He hosted his last radio show this afternoon on WBCB.

He was also a contributor to the Action News Inside Story program that airs Sundays on 6abc.

Irv's son, Ronn Homer, tells 6abc that a memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Levine Funeral Home located at 4737 E Street Road in Feasterville, Pa. 19053.
