Topless coffee shop wants to rebuild

VASSALBORO, Maine (AP) - July 13, 2009

Donald Crabtree says he'll go before the planning board in Vassalboro tomorrow.

Crabtree wants permission to rebuild his Grand View Topless Coffee Shop, which was torched in an arson in June.

The fire followed Crabtree's last appearance before the board, when he sought an OK to extend his hours and to play music so his shirtless waitresses could dance as well serve.

A local paper (Kennebec Journal) reports the topless coffee shop has angered many people in the small Maine town.
