Bensalem authorities tell Action News that 20-year-old Joseph Gillespie of Croydon died when his motorcycle hit the side of an SUV late Thursday night near Street Road and Knights Road.
Police say the SUV, driven by a 17-year-old from Northeast Philadelphia, made a left-hand turn into the Gillespie's path. Gillespie was thrown off the motorcycle and later died at the hospital. The driver of the SUV was also injured in the accident.
Investigators don't believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
