MJ's memorial at Motown will also be buried

Stuffed animals, flowers, letters and other items placed outside Detroit's Motown Historical Museum in memory of Michael Jackson will be taken to a cemetery for burial.Two hearses are scheduled to pick up the items Friday morning. The mementos will be buried in two donated plots at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit. A brief remembrance and prayer service also will be held at the cemetery.

Museum spokeswoman Sharon Banks says there will not be an official processional from the museum, the former Motown Records studio.

Jackson died June 25 in California. He signed to Motown Records in the late 1960s with his brothers as the Jackson 5.
