Police: Man confined to home still sold drugs

NEW CASTLE, Del. - July 28, 2009 Officers had been assigned to the area of Iron Hill and Vinnings Apartments in New Castle, Delaware to address quality of life issues.

Through an investigation, police say they learned Malik Moss, 24, was selling drugs from his apartment.

Police searched his home on Monday afternoon, and found a small amount of cocaine, 98 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, a digital scale and a .45 caliber bullet.

There was also $370 in suspected drug proceeds.

Moss has been charged with possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling for keeping a controlled substance.

He was taken to prison on $10,500 secured bail.
