SLIDES: The deadly accident scene
It happened a little after 12:30 Thursday morning on County Line Road just east of Richardson Road in Montgomery Township.
Police say a 2002 Buick station wagon driven by 23-year-old Stephen Strassburg of Sellersville, crossed over County Line Road and plowed head-on into a Suzuki sedan.
The driver of the Suzuki, Wayne Cooper, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Suzuki was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital.
A medical helicopter flew the driver of the station wagon to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania trauma unit.
