A couple and their 13-year-old son parked a brand new Dodge Durango in the parking garage at Richland and Walnut Streets.
According to officials, the teen became bored after the parents began gambling and grabbed his father's keys.
The 13-year-old went into the Durango which was parked on the fourth floor and started to play around.
He turned on the truck's ignition, put the vehicle in drive, and drove off the side of the garage.
He landed on a brand new Toyota SUV, crushing it.
The teen was able to get out of the truck and was transported to a local hospital.
The boy is said to be in good condition.
Upper Darby Police are investigating.
