Casino cook reports cutlery worth $300 stolen

An unknown suspect, in the casino kitchen, with four stolen knives worth $300.

That's the mystery, but so far state police in Erie say they haven't got a clue who the perpetrator is.

Police say a cook at the Bonne Vie Steakhouse at Presque Isle Downs & Casino told them she had cleaned and stored her personal cutlery at the end of her shift, about 10:30 p.m. Friday. When she came back to work about 1 p.m. Saturday, four of the knives were gone.

Police have not charged anyone in the thefts.
