Arrest in sex assault of Pa. teenager

LOWER PROVIDENCE, Pa. - August 13, 2009 Police in Lower Providence, Pa., say they were notified that Seth Griffith, 31, was arrested by authorities in Nevada.

According to police there, the registration on the vehicle Griffith was driving came back to a car stolen from Georgia.

Police are working to bring Griffith back from Nevada to face charges here.

Griffith was wanted for raping a 19-year-old woman back on July 27th.

It was around 5:00 p.m. that night when , police say, Griffith followed the victim home from the Wal-Mart on Trooper Road.

He got in his silver car, police say, followed her a few miles to her Audubon home, then entered the house through an unlocked door.

"I thought it was my dad, I was in my room and went to go check and he was standing right there," the victim told Action News.

Officials say after sexually assaulting the victim, Griffith ran off.

Authorities had originally believed Griffith had fled to central Pennsylvania.
