A.C. corruption trial underway

MAYS LANDING, N.J. - October 8, 2009 A trial began Thursday for three men accused of luring a city councilman who is also a Baptist minister to a motel room, secretly filming him having sex with a hooker, and using the videotape to try to embarrass him into resigning.

Floyd Tally and David and Ronald Callaway are charged with conspiracy, criminal coercion and invasion of privacy. They deny the charges.

The Callaways' brother, former council president Craig Callaway, admitted masterminding the plot.
