2 ejected from car after chase ends in crash

MT. EPHRAIM, N.J. - December 17, 2009

The chase ended when the suspects lost control and crashed at about 2:05 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Kings Highway and Hill Street in Mt. Ephraim, Camden County.

Medics transported both occupants to Cooper University Hospital with multiple injuries.

According to Gloucester City Police, officers spotted the car traveling at a high rate of speed on Market Street in Gloucester City. When police began their pursuit the car was headed toward Mt. Ephraim on Kings Highway. By the time police caught up to the car the driver had lost control and hit a parked car.

Both occupants are in critical condition.
