Cell phone plan prices dropping

January 18, 2010 Starting now, you can get unlimited talk time to anyone in the U.S. with Verizon Wireless for $70 a month and unlimited talking and texting is just $20 more!

Verizon Wireless is also reducing the price of its family share plans. However, it is making a $10 a month data plan mandatory for its high-speed 3G customers.

Meantime rival AT&T is responding to all this by giving its customers a break. Its unlimited voice and data plan for smart phones like the iPhone are going down $30 to $100 a month.
