The incident began when police noticed a man wanted for homicide at 65th Avenue and 19th Street. The man was able to drive away from police.
The suspect's SUV then struck two vehicles, a minivan and a car shortly before 5:00 p.m. at Haines and Rodney streets
Two innocent victims, including a 45-year-old woman, had to be removed from the other cars and were transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
The man being sought was apprehended and transported to Philadelphia homicide for questioning.
