Philadelphia police closed the northbound lanes of the Boulevard early Saturday at C Street while they investigated the fatal crash that killed two and injured another.
The single vehicle accident occurred around 5:15 a.m. in the northbound inner lanes of the Boulevard near C Street when the driver of the car lost control and struck several signs and a snow bank trapping all three males inside.
Police say the car rolled over from the outer lanes to the inner lanes where it came to a rest.
Firefighters worked to free the males, who were taken by ambulance to Einstein Hospital.
Police say both the driver and one of the passengers were pronounced dead.
Another passenger remains in stable condition.
