Install a ledge shelf, they take up almost no room but will hold jars of cotton balls and swabs, it can also hold lotions, hand towels or some toilet tissue.

Don't have a wall long enough for a ledge shelf? Try some box shelves. They'll take up less space but you can use the inside and the top of each box for storage.

You could also store a couple of rolls toilet tissue on a standing paper towel holder on the back of the toilet tank, or get a little holder that hooks over your tank to hold a spare roll.

Rather than hanging a towel bar in a small bathroom that will only hold a couple of towels, hang a series of hooks.

Hooks give you more room and versatility because you can hang towels and robes or even hairdryers and curling irons.

If you're doing a remodel in a small bathroom, choose a pedestal sink or a low profile vanity cabinet like this one, either choice will free up floor space and make the small space appear larger.

Easy ways to make the most of your small bathroom! I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
