Man shot multiple times in Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. - March 8, 2010 Police said at 5:28 p.m., they received a call for shots fired along the 600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

When they arrived they found 29-year old Robert Jenkins down on the street.

Police said Jenkins managed to run down the street before collapsing on Middle Rose Street. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the lower back but was said to be coherent.

He was rushed into surgery and is deemed critical.

So far he has not been able to tell the police anything about the shooting.
