Philadelphia-area lawyer Jeremy Ibrahim said Monday that nothing in the indictment unsealed last week supports the terrorism charges against 31-year-old Jamie Paulin-Ramirez of Colorado.
Paulin-Ramirez is in federal custody in Philadelphia after voluntarily returning from Ireland on Friday. A hearing is set for Wednesday in Philadelphia.
The federal indictment charges that she accepted an invitation from co-defendant Colleen LaRose of Pennsylvania to move to Ireland to help work toward a Muslim holy war.
The indictment charges that LaRose called herself "Jihad Jane" online and agreed to kill a Swedish artist. It says Paulin-Ramirez quickly married one of the terrorism suspects.
