ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - April 21, 2010

Several casinos also forfeited more than $3,200 that was won by underage gamblers.

The state Casino Control Commission levied fines totaling $20,000 on Bally's Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City for allowing a man who had signed up for New Jersey's self-exclusion list to gamble.

The list provides a mechanism for problem gamblers to keep themselves from betting because it requires casinos to turn them away.

In related news, Caesars, the Tropicana Casino and Resort and the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa forfeited more than $3,200 won by a total of 117 underage gamblers.
