Authorities in Boulder, Colorado, report a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza was apparently caught by a gust of wind as it was coming in for a landing.
The plane bounced and plowed into the back of a Toyota Prius.
Ken Marcoux says he hit the gas when he saw the plane coming.
While the Prius is known for its gas mileage, acceleration isn't one of its strong points.
Marcoux says he might have been able to get out of the way if he had a sports car.
Neither Ken nor Carol Marcoux got hurt when a wing came crashing through their right rear passenger side window.
The pilot apparently wasn't injured either.
